You are right that things have changed and to your point “…you may opt to include a portfolio of yours in your resume cover letter” I suggest creating an online portfolio at a free service such as www.nuresume.com and including the link to that multi-media portfolio in the resume and cover letter. There is no better way to market yourself in this online World that to create an online interactive presence.
